Micro-Meadow

What began as an unused manicured lawn has been transformed into a thriving micro-meadow. Taking advantage of the seasonal flooding of the site, we had the opportunity to use plants we don’t frequently get to, such as Fireweed, Monkey Flower and Senna. The simple rectangular bluestone path gave access through the garden, and delicious native strawberry was used as a ground cover between them. The client was so pleased with the result he had us continue the planting scheme down the side of the house.
